What is the guarantee or warranty on Lekue products?Updated 8 days ago

Lekue has a reputation as a company that provides durable solutions and lasting values. Our reputation is our most valuable asset so we make sure we take good care of it. As we do with of all our products.

Warranty Periods by Product
  • Platinum silicone bakeware, baking mats, reusable boxes, lids, kitchen grips, microwave grills / panini presses: 10 years
  • Reusable silicone bags: 10 years
  • Non-scratch PBT cooking utensils: 5 years
  • Other Products: 1, 2, or 5 years (typically specified on the product packaging)
What is Covered
  • Manufacturing, construction, and material defects.
  • Replacement of the item (or defective parts) at the company's discretion.
What is Not Covered
  • No Lifetime Warranty: Lekue does not offer lifetime warranties.
  • Second-Hand Goods: The warranty does not extend to second-hand owners or used goods.
  • Misuse or Damage or Accidents: Damage caused by unauthorised alterations, abuse, neglect, accident or improper household use.
  • Normal Wear & Tear: Cosmetic wear and environmental damage (e.g., rust) over time.
  • Commercial usage: Non-domestic use

Lekue carries a range of spare parts and replacement parts. Please contact us to enquire should you require a service part under warranty or to purchase a replacement part out of warranty (product specific, availability is not guaranteed).


Guarantee Claim Procedure

To file a guarantee claim, as a customer you must:

  • Contact the retailer or LekueSouth Africa Customer Service within the warranty period:
    • If the product was purchased through a retailer, you must return the product to the store where the product was purchased.
    • If the product was purchased online from the Lekue South Africa website, please contact us directly using our web form.
  • Provide a valid proof of purchase or LekueSouth Africa online order reference:
    • If the product was purchased through a retailer, provide a receipt or invoice indicating retailer name and date of purchase.
    • If the product was purchased online from the Lekue South Africa website, provide your valid order reference [e.g. LLOR12345678]
  • Supply clear and sufficient images of the fault or defect, if requested:
    • If the product was purchased through a retailer, we may request these from the store or area sales agent.
    • If the product was purchased online from the Lekue South Africa website, you may upload these images when completing the web form, or send them via email to our Customer Service department once your request is initiated, if requested.
  • Return the defective part or product to us, if requested, for inspection. We will arrange courier collection with you in some cases, or you may return the product to our offices for assessment (please make contact with us via the web form prior to visiting).
